    Why Apply?

    Last year, we funded 34 grants totaling $59,355, reaching 1,889 students, impacting 18 school buildings and all four feeder patterns.! Your ideas can be next.

    How It Works

    Rolling deadlines are the last Friday of each month through - or until funds run out. Apply early!

    What We Fund

    We're looking for projects that include:

    • Experiential learning (e.g., field trips, hands-on activities)

    • Real-world learning

    • Project-based units

    • Ties to the Portrait of a Graduate 

    • We don’t fund basic supplies unless part of a larger project.

    Quick Facts

    • Any NKC Schools staff member can apply

    • Awards range from $500 to $3,000

    • Applications are reviewed monthly

    • Grant funds are typically available within 1 week of approval

    • A brief final report and student photos/videos are required
