Thanks to the generosity of the Jedel Family Foundation, Oak Park Alumnae Linda Holwick Bond ’76 and the late Michele Evenson Lindsay ’76, and other dedicated donors, sixteen NKCS high school students receive a full scholarships to attend a summer study and travel program.
The scholarships cover the program costs, flights and other travel expenses, such as applying for a passport.

The NKC Schools Education Foundation is proud to work with dozens of donors to provide scholarships investing in our students’ futures. Nearly 60 opportunities are available for students to pursue further education or career/technical training.
Seniors graduating in 2024 received 118 scholarships worth over $117,000 – a new record! Congratulations to all recipients. Since 2004, the Education Foundation has awarded 1,211 scholarships worth $1,095,760.
