A Book for Young Readers That Celebrates The Rich Diversity in Our World

Copies cost $5 each, with proceeds benefitting the Education Foundation.

This book was created and illustrated by eighth-grade students from Antioch Middle School during the 2019-2020 school year. The original classroom project by Mark Anderson, district art coordinator and teacher, was funded by an Education Foundation Kahler Grant. Written for kindergarteners and first-graders, Lots and Lots and Lots of Spots focuses on diversity and making all students feel valued, accepted and welcome.

The Education Foundation has published 5,000 soft-cover copies of the book, thanks to a special impact grant from the Capitol Federal Foundation. Copies have been distributed to all kindergarten and first-grade classes in the district. Now you can share it with your young family members and friends!
